Taking its name from the word for water in the Guarani language, Y is a new restaurant at Hotel das Cataratas dedicated to creative Brazilian cuisine.
Y is helmed by award-winning chef Luiz Filipe Souza, who cut his teeth at the Michelin-star São Paulo restaurant Evvai. In the verdant setting of the Iguassu National Park, Y is dedicated to using Brazilian ingredients from across the country in exciting and often unorthodox ways.
From a nine-stage tasting menu to à la carte offerings and bar snacks, Y is a new culinary haven with stunning views of the surrounding falls.
